From the farm: "This is a transition time at the farm, where our summer crops are winding down, and many of our fall crops aren’t ready for harvest. Please be patient as we await the arrival of our fall greens, broccoli, winter squash and pumpkins, mesclun mix and other fall crops."

Really? No winter squash? Huh. Our CSA is swimming in it. Last week, I scored big-time, and brought home:

1 butternut squash
2 delicata squashes
and one that looks like an acorn squash but has is yellow and dark green splotchy.
Yum!
Well, we're more temperate down here - the season is longer. We did get one spaghetti squash a couple weeks back (I think that counts as a winter squash).
